Becoming a GTA at UCA
In 2017 I became a GTA for the University for the Creative Arts Canterbury.
This video is a sample compilation of animation clips completed by 1st and 2nd years of the Animation and Illustration course of 2017-2018 who attended my workshops. For some this was the first time they had ever animated in Stop Motion before. I created weekly tasks where we focused on animation movements such as 'ease ins and ease outs', character emotions and their movements through boxes (which I like to call the 'Emotional Box' task),
Later the 2nd years took this learning process forward with their own puppets which they made in my model making 'master class'.
